I honestly don't know what I was thinking when I painted it that green color. It wasn't workin' that's for sure!
Before I did the kitchen cabinets, I practiced first on my bathroom cabinets
I honestly don't know what I was thinking when I painted it that green color. It wasn't workin' that's for sure!
I loved not wearing make-up for 3 days!
We had so much fun watching movies, sitting around a fire all night, making s'mores, and playing with my sister's kids. Leaving the cabin was sad, but I was also excited to get home to start on some projects around my house. Part 2 of my spring break coming up :)
Now this may not look like a lot of notecards....but trust me, it is. There's about 100. Each one crammed with important information that's supposed to be shoved into my brain and added to all of the other thousands of notecards that I shoved into my brain prior. This is what I need to know for Monday's test.
And these........
Are for Thursday's test. My block 3 final. There's about 300 notecards there. I'm supposed to remember crap from November for this test???? So, needless to say, all I have been doing is studying. constantly. And if I am not studying, I'm thinking about what I need to study. Or feeling guilty that I'm not studying. I thought I would be hanging out with my man tonight, as spending quality time Justin would be a good excuse not to study right? haha. But that didn't happen. Nope. He got a flood call! Am I suprised? No, story of my life.
So, somebody, please......
Shoot me now.
In May, we moved out of our little, humble apartment due to a mold problem and moved in with my parents while we looked for a house.
On August 15, we closed the loan on our house and became official homeowners! A great milestone for us. We are so happy in our home and know its exactly where we are supposed to be. Couldn't ask for a better neighborhood to be in.
Justin was planning a suprise for us to get away for the weekend for our anniversary, but unfortunately some family things came up and we were worried we might have to make a trip up to UT for a funeral, so he told me about it and we agreed to cancel the trip. So, we ended up spending the entire day together going to breakfast seeing movies, bowling, and going to dinner. It definitely made up for not getting to go out of town.
Over the past year, I have learned that marriage is not always easy. Sometimes it just SUCKS! haha but it is also the best thing in the world. I get to share my life with the most caring, handsome, hard working man I have ever met. I love him more than the day I married him. And I continue to love him more each day. I am so grateful for the temple marriage we have. And for the life that we are building together! Here's to one year down!
