offical homeowners!

It is official- we are now homeowners!!!! We got the keys yesterday! We are so excited. We actually painted the entire house (except for 1 bedroom for the future baby, whenver that may be) before we even got the keys lol so thats a big project already done and out of the way. Last night Justin and my bro-in-law started on our wood floors and will hopefully finish them today! We will probably make the big move on Monday. It is crazy how different the house looks already. It's starting to feel like our home. Sorry, no pics yet. Ill post some as soon as we are all moved in!

Our offer has been accepted!!!

So, good news!!! We finally got an offer accepted! And it's the house we loved more than any others. We really didn't think we would get it, and we were trying not to get our hopes up. But we actually got it!!! It's on Signal Butte and Elliot and I LOVE that area! The planned closing date is the end of August and we can't wait!!!

This past weekend was a lot of fun! Friday morning I went to the temple with my mom and Hayley. Then that night I got to go out with Allison, Erica, and Kylie and have a girls night!! We went to Grimaldi's which was SO good! Then we went over to Kylie's adorable house and had pazookies. Then of course, we had the usual 2 hour talk on Allison's driveway at the end of the night. Haha, we can never stop talking! Goodbye's are hard for us girls! Saturday I studied for like 5 hours straight then off to Mi Amigos and the movies with Justin.

Haha, yes we are in the AMC parking lot taking a picture..... Lame I know!! Luckily my husband's a good sport about picture time! We saw "State of Play" and we loved it! We had a very nice, uninterrupted night together!

The "Pat Tillman" Race

On Saturday, I had the amazing opportunity to run for the "Pat Tillman Foundation". It was 4.2 miles and the course went around the Tempe Town Lake area and ended in the ASU Football Stadium on the 42 yd. line. (Pat's number was 42) My sister Hayley and I ran it together. We finished the 4.2 miles in 40 minutes, which we didn't think was too bad. Especially because we weren't too concerned about our time, we just wanted to run it and have fun. I didn't have anyone there to take pics and I definitely was not gonna run with my camera, so these are a couple pictures off the website just to give you an idea of the set up/environment. There were roughly 13,000 people there that ran/walked. It was awesome to say the least. Btw, the shirts we got are super cute, always a plus!

I can't even explain the feeling of running up into the stadium at the end of the race. All of the ASU players were lined up with their hands out to slap people's hands as they ran passed. It was an amazing experience and I can't wait to do it again next year!
